Well done to Mitchell. He was awarded the class certificate for all the amazing effort he had been putting into his learning. Also Monique and Mitchell won a prize for their amazing holiday reading. Quinn was also lucky. She was listening so carefully and being so respectful during assembly that she got into the assembly prize draw and won the prize for the Juniors. Awesome stuff Room 2!
We love working as a team! Today Ella and Quinn worked as a team to make our giant alphabet puzzle. They kept on going and we were proud that they finished it. Tu meke!!!!
Everyone in Room 2 loves making things. Solarah, Mitchell and Amman made things from Lego and shared them with the class. We thought they were awesome. At Discovery, Levi did some building with Kevin. We were so proud of their creations!
Emily and Jordan read to the class. They did such a great job. Emily read "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr Suezz and Jordan read one of his reading books "Josh and Scruffy". We all enjoyed the stories and they were brave getting up and reading to the class. Ka pai Jordan and Emily!
On Thursday we had an awesome afternoon running our first cross country race. We had to run around a huge track, over tractor tyres, around rugby posts and over a hay bail and finally down through the finish line. We worked really hard to run the whole way and we did our best. It was so great having lots of people watching. It was awesome! Tu meke! !!
